Capabilities for Architecture and Transformation Survey
© Oliver Bossert and Sharm Manwani, Henley Business School

SURVEY GOALS: This survey focuses on the individual capabilities you need to architect and transform your enterprise. It also captures data about the context in which you operate.

PRIOR RESEARCH: The authors have decades of experience in executive, consulting and academic roles. Their long-running Enterprise Architecture survey focused on enterprise capabilities. For a summary of this survey, go to:
https://www.henley.ac.uk/news/2021/enterprise-architecture-and-digital-leaders

OUTPUTS: Participants will receive a personal capability overview based on their submitted data. A summary of overall results reviewing factors affecting performance will also be published.

AUDIENCE: The survey is for architecture and transformation professionals. Some have expertise in architecting technical initiatives. Some lead business transformation or specialize in processes, data or solutions. Given this broad scope, it would be unusual to achieve the highest capability in every area.

COMPLETING THE SURVEY: Your capability is based on your cumulative expertise rather than one specific role. Where context questions are role-specific, choose an appropriate role. You can bypass questions but your profile map will be more informative with a complete response.

DEFINITIONS: We use the term capability to denote a blend of knowledge, skills, behaviors and  experience. An enterprise relates to any public or private organization where you utilize your capability.

USING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION: The survey project has been reviewed by the appropriate Research Ethics Committee at Henley Business School, the University of Reading (Henley) and has been given a favourable ethical opinion. Henley may use the information collected in this survey in several ways, for example: conducting research, including market research, for statistical analysis, for obtaining feedback.
