Thank you for participating in this research project!

This research project is a follow up study to the hugely successful series of studies undertaken by Henley Business School and EMCC Global.

The focus for this short study is to explore a series of key themes facing coaches in 2023. These themes include:

  1. Coaching practice
  2. Digital & AI Coaching
  3. Team, Group and Coaching Supervision
  4. Ethics and ethical decision making

The survey is divided into TWO parts. You can choose to complete Part 1, or Part 1 and Part 2, depending on the time you have available.

On average, participants should take around 14 minutes to complete Part 1, and around 12 minutes to complete Part 2.

The survey is anonymous. We will not ask for your name or any details that would allow you to be identified, but we will ask questions about your views, attitudes and feelings. The data will be added together to create industry averages, so please answer all the questions honestly.

We recognise some themes, specifically D&I, may be of a personal nature. We believe only by collecting this data will we help the profession to improve our approaches to diversity and inclusion in our industry.

EMCC definition of diversity
The EMCC is a membership organisation that exists to develop, promote, and set the expectation of best practice in mentoring, coaching, and supervision globally for the benefit of society. Diversity in coaching is recognising the differences between us. Differences include ethnicity, gender, age, national origin, disability, sexual identity, education, experience, philosophy, political views, socio-economic background, religion, different thought processes & perspectives, and anything else that may be perceived to differentiate us from one another. Some of these differences are permanent and some may change and shift over time. It is about what makes us unique.
